745,841. Boilers for domestic fireplaces. BAXENDALE, R., BAXENDALE, J., BAXENDALE, P. S., and BAXENDALE, M. J. May 17, 1954 [July 6,1953], No. 18655/53. Class 126. [Also in Group XIII] A domestic fireback boiler 6 has a flat inclined bottom mounted on a seat 7 sloping upwards towards the back and a passage 8 under its centre leading to a flue at the back ; the rear wall 10 of the boiler slopes backwards so as to narrow the flue towards the top, and the upper part 9 of the front wall of the boiler slopes forwards, the lower part being vertical. In the form shown, the height of the passage 8 increases rearwardly and water tubes 11 extend across the passage. In another form without water tubes, the passage is of the same height throughout.
