743,470. Gas-heating stoves; hot-water boilers; heating buildings, &c. SOC. NATIONALE D'ETUDE ET DE CONSTRUCTION DE MOTEURS D'AVIATION. June 3, 1953 [June 6, 1952], No. 12313/55. Divided out of 743,432. Classes 64(1) and 64(2). In a fluid-heating apparatus in which the fluid is heated by a plurality of resonant-firing combustion chambers 1 (of which only one is shown), the combustion chambers are connected by separate exhaust pipes 7 with a gas turbine 16 which is driven by the exhaust gases and drives a blower 17 or pump arranged in the path of the fluid to be heated. In the form shown, in which air from the blower 17 is heated and supplied to a room 12, the supply of exhaust gases to the turbine is regulated by a valvecontrolled by-pass 19a. In another form, liquid is circulated through the heater and through radiators.
