742,484. Grilling-apparatus. KNIGHT, L. A. Jan. 21, 1954 [Feb. 6, 1953], No. 3486/53. Class 28(1). [Also in Group XVII] A cooking utensil comprises a plate portion 4 having a smooth flat cooking side 9, a corrugated cooking side wherein the corrugations become progessively deeper from their mid points to their outer ends, and an integral rim portion 11-12 which forms a drain channel round the corrugated surface and a raised surround for the smooth flat cooking surface. The crests 5 of the corrugations lie in one plane and the depths of successive troughs become greater as the distance from the centre increases. The utensil has a detachable handle 13 and a pouring lip 14.
