Abstract
Ammonium sulphamate is made by reacting together substantially anhydrous gaseous sulphur dioxide and gaseous ammonia, the ammonia being in excess of 4 mols of ammonia to 3 of sulphur dioxide at above 150 lbs. per sq. inch, and at 200 DEG -400 DEG C. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 696,996.
