Abstract

739,614. Weighing-apparatus. WEIGHERS (LIVESTOCK), Ltd. May 21, 1954 [Jan. 8, 1954], No. 553/54. Class 143. A livestock weigher is provided with a lifting lever by which the indicator can be relieved of load when the weigher is not in use. The weigher (not disclosed) is assumed to consist of a crate supported on a twin lever system, the levers being connected by a swivel to a rod which actuates the indicator, and to include a twin tubular frame which spans the crate and supports the indicator. The lever 5. is pivoted to a bracket 1 secured to the frame 3, 3, and engages beneath the cross-bar of the swivel 9 when the lever 11, also pivoted on the bracket, is raised.
