Abstract

738,282. Food vessels. BRITISH VACUUM FLASK CO., Ltd., and VENIS, E. July 23, 1953 [July 23, 1952], No. 18645/52. Class 66. [Also in Group XIII] A container, e.g. moulded from phenolformaldehyde resin to con tain food such as sandwiches, ha two dished members 12, 13 wedged one within the other and a lid comprising two similarly nested members 14, 14a. Further more, insulating air-gaps 22, 28 are formed between the componen members of the container and lid respectively and the members are separable to form the component: of two separate lidded containers. The wedging of the members together in the single container form shown is facilitated by ribs 21, 27 formed on either inner or outer member. The ribs 21 are shown on the lip 20a of the outer member 13. The lip 20 of the inner member 12 is received between the lips of the lid members 14, 14a.
