737,481. Suspending curtains. FURSE, H. J. Sept. 28, 1953 [Dec. 3, 1962], No. 30663/52. Class 52 (5). A curtain runner for flanged curtain rails comprises a flat metal pressing A provided near its upper edge with an aperture, the upper edge being gapped to embrace the lower flange of the. rail. Secured to the plate is a non- metallic backing B of noiseless low frictional material such as leather having an aperture and gap of smaller dimensions than those of the corresponding parts of the plate so that the projecting parts of the backing are the only parts in contact with the rail. The leather or other suitable material may be impregnated with oil for smooth running.
