Abstract

A corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy containing 0.1-0.3 per p cent of copper is clad with super-purity aluminium. The alloy may also contain 1.25 per cent manganese, 2.25 per cent magnesium and 0.5 per cent manganese, or 1 per cent magnesium and 1 per cent manganese. The cladding may be on one or both sides.
