Abstract

An aluminium alloy contains 4.6% zinc, 3.3% magnesium, 0.65% copper, 0.32% iron, 0.3% manganese, 0.17% silicon, 0.18% chromium and the remainder aluminium. 0.1% titanium may also be added to the above constituents, if required, to promote nucleation.
