734,854. Spring clips. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and MOUNSDON, M. H. Aug. 27, 1953 [Aug. 27, 1952], No. 21588/52. Class 44. A spring clip fastener for holding a refractor member 10 in position in a street lighting fitting comprises a length of spring wire bent so as to be normally substantially of U-shape, provided at the end of one limb 22 with a hook 21 for engaging a recess 13 in the refractor member, having the other limb 25 bent to form a loop 26 lying in a plane substantially at right-angles to the plane in which lie the limbs of the U and having a helically coiled portion 23 for increasing the resilience of the clip, formed at a region of the U lying between the loop and the part of the other limb opposite the loop. As shown a plurality of clips are used to attach the refractor member to a reflector 31.
