Abstract

732,761. Collapsible tubes. GESTETNER, Ltd. May 28, 1954 [Oct. 21, 1953], No. 29104/53. Class 66. The shoulder piece 6 of a collapsible tube 5 of a vinyl plastic adapted to be emptied by suction applied to a tube 8 is locally weakened as by radial lines I so that under pressure it will collapse or fold to ensure complete emptying of the tube. The radial grooves may be in line and formed on the outer or inner surface of the shoulder piece or on both surfaces.
