730,588. Electric-light projectors. MOLE-RICHARDSON (ENGLAND), Ltd. March 25, 1953 [June 23, 1952], No. 15728/52. Class 75 (4). An electric-light projector, particularly for subaqueous use, comprises a closed lamp casing a containing an electric lamp d and a reflector s, and which need not be capable of withstanding pressures greater than 5 to 10 lb. per square inch, and which embodies a device, e.g. a bellows q, for equalizing the pressures inside and outside the lamp casing. The distilled water is introduced through a filling opening having a detachable cap o and a filter p. The lamp d may be a high-pressure discharge lamp of water-cooled type.
