727,532. Pressure dusting apparatus. CLAAS, A., and CLAAS, F. March 16, 1953 [April 5, 1952], No. 7134/53. Drawings to Specification. Class 8 (1). [Also in Group XIII] In a liquid cooled engine having a fan-cooled coolant radiator, means are provided to reverse the normal direction of the fan when required so that dust &c. which has accumulated on the radiator may be blown off. In the arrangements described, the normal fan drive from the engine shaft is manually disconnected, e.g. in the case of a gear drive, by means of a clutch or in the case of an open belt drive, by means of a clutch or by slackening the belt, and the reversing drive which may comprise gears, a crossed belt or friction wheels is then brought into operation.
