Abstract
A herbicide comprises a herbicidal substance and dewaxed lac Herbicidal substances specified are sodium chlorate, sodium 2 : 4-dichlorophenoxyacetate, and sodium pentachlorophenate. Wetting agents, for example the non-ionic wetting agent "Belloid" T.D. (R.T.M.), may be present. The composition is made up with water for application. A small quantity of sodium or potassium bichromate may be present in the composition to render the dewaxed lac substantially insoluble on drying. The composition is preferably supplied in compressed block form.
