726,873. Glazing. GRANT, J. J. March 10, 1954 [June 30, 1953], No. 18070/53. Class 20 (3). A cover joint for glass plates 1 of equal thickness meeting at a right or obtuse angle comprises a strip 3 of synthetic transparent material of the same or greater thickness as/than the plates inserted between the edges of the plates at right angles to a plane bisecting the angle between them, the edges of the strip being joggled to fit and interlock with the edges of the plates. The plates and strip are united by transparent cement and the ends are received in frame members 6 to form a shop window, display cabinet or the like.
