726,217. Burners. PASSERI, F. Feb. 9, 1953, No. 3634/53. Class 75 (1). A fluid fuel burner comprises a fuel duct 1 extending in airtight manner through the bottom wall of a cylindrical recess b in a body a and terminating behind the mouth of the recess, the burner being so proportioned as to leave a space between the mouth of the recess and a flame issuing from the duct whereby air is drawn through the space into the recess. The duct 1 and the body a may be formed integrally or separately. The body a may be adjustable axially relative to the duct for instance by the body being threaded on to the duct. A burner providing a plurality of flames comprises a head threaded on to a burner body and provided with a plurality of recesses and ducts projecting thereinto.
