725,084. Projection screens. BRAKELL, G. R. July 16, 1953, No. 19756/53. Class 97 (1). Separate sheets, each consisting of a thin,plastic layer adhering to a thick base layer are joined by securing the base layers, the joins being covered by the plastic layers. As shown, plastic layers 12 are carried on bases 11 of textile or plastic. Both may be polyvinyl chloride, the layer 12 is secured by welding, if the base is plastic, or by adhesive. The margins of the layer 12 are left free so that the margins 21 of the bases can be secured by welding or stitching. The margins 22, 25 of the layers 12 are then secured, as by adhesive, in overlapping relation, being trimmed if necessary. The separate sheets are coated with aluminium paint and perforated before being joined.
