724,665. Junction-pieces for pipes. JUNKERS & CO., GES. Jan. 28, 1953. [Feb. 6, 1952], No. 2388/53. Class 99 (1). An S-bend particularly suitable for connecting the unions of water heaters to pipes fixed in or on a wall has end sections 2, 3 extending perpendicularly from a straight intermediate section 1 which is of oval or other non-circular section which has a major dimension in a plane perpendicular to the axes of the end sections. A union nut 4 is carried by a flanged bush 7 in the end section 3 which has an appreciable clearance 6 in the aperture of the nut.
