Abstract
723,647. Tube connections. BIANCHI, L., and MOOR, F. A. June 15, 1951. [June 26, 1950] No. 14294/51. Class 99 (1). A tube 9 enclosing electrical conductors 10 to an electrical apparatus is connected to the wall 11 of the apparatus by a pair of sleeves 1, 4 which are relatively rotatable and, .within limits, relatively movable axially. The sleeve 1 screws on to the tube 9, and the sleeve 4 into an opening in the wall. An internal flange 6 engages the sleeve 4 between shoulders 5, 8 thereon, the distance between the shoulders being equal to the length of the threaded portion of sleeve 4 so that the tube can be connected to and disconnected from the wall without axial movement of the tube.
