Abstract
723,118. Stereophonic recording and reproduction. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Dec. 11, 1951 [Dec. 14, 1950], No. 28986/51. Class 40 (4). The sounds of one or more church bells are reproduced by loudspeakers L1, L2 facing in opposite directions. The loudspeakers are controlled by magnetic records obtained simultaneously by pick-up devices M1, M2 disposed on opposite sides of the axis of a swinging bell (or bells). Amplifiers V are connected between the loudspeaker and the reproducing device M. The two records are made on a single magnetic tape to facilitate synchronous reproduction.
