[Also in Groups II and V] Polytetrafluoroethylene powder is agitated in a hopper 10 prior to moulding (see Group V) by rotating beaters having radial spokes 24 with blades 25. The leading edges of the blades are tapered and the trailing edges rounded. The powder is fed from the hopper by a screw 35.
