Abstract

716,167. Electric two-position indicators. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Dec. 3, 1952 [Jan. 24, 1952], No. 30700/52. Class 40 (1). An electric two-position indicator comprises two coils 1, 2 energised alternatively by the opening and closing of a circuit, to attract a hinged armature 3 which is biased by a compression spring 7 to retain the armature in either position until the other coil is energised. The armature 3 and spring 7 are pivoted along the axis of the indicator. An extension of the armature 3 comprises a signal vane 4 indicating via a window 11 in the housing 9.
