Abstract
715,195. Filtering gases. THOMA, H. March 30, 1951 [March 30, 1950], No. 7494/51. Class 8 (2). [Also in Group IX] Filter screens 5, 15 of a waste thread extraction apparatus for a spinning machine (see Group IX) are interposed between a dust collecting duct 2 entering the rear of a filter box 1 and a horizontally mounted fan 3 and motor 4 so as to protect them. The fan 3 discharges filtered air down a duct 8 into a distributing chamber 9 extending over the whole bottom area of the box and through downwardly directed louvers 6 located close to the floor 7 in the side walls or in the bottom 10.
