Class 83 (4) In a stretching press in which a workpiece is shaped by a stretching block 1 raised by cylinders 19, 20, a die device 14 for forming a recess in the workpiece is connected directly to the block 1. A rod 15 with piston moved in a cylinder 7 by pressure from pipes P is screw connected to the block and the die 14 on the cylinder co-operates with a recess in this block to effect stamping. The cylinder may be secured to the block by a yoke.
