710,074. Pneumatic separating. BUHLER, GEB. Jan. 6, 1950 [Jan. 10, 1949 ; March 31, 1949], No. 412/50. Class 17 [Also in Group XXX] Air from the lift passes down duct 14 whilst the material carried thereby separates and falls past pivoted valve 12, controlled by handle 13, into hopper 4, the falling material meeting the air current which carries off the lighter material through conduit B, its passage therethrough being governed by fixed partition 15 and valves 16 and 17. The lighter material falls into hopper 5 and the air carrying dust passes off at 8 to a pressure filter.
