Class 3 (1) A display device comprises a plurality of rotors A1-A8 wherein each rotor is formed with a number of radiating blades having between them equal 1 angles, the backgrounds of which angles are differently coloured in the different angles and on .which background the interior of each angle carries an indicator such as a letter, figure, numeral, engraving or the like, identical and positioned substantially in each of the angles so that upon rotation of the rotor around its axis, which coincides with'the common edge of the angles formed by the blades, the said indicator remains constantly apparent on a rapid succession of differently coloured backgrounds, one or more of such rotors. being mounted eccentrically on a platform or disc F which is itself rotatably mounted on a central axis. The rotors may be moved by the wind or by clockwork. As an alternative to the arrangement shown the rotors may be arranged with the axis horizontal, in which case groups are supported on spindles which project vertically from the platform.
