Abstract

702,887. Suction cleaner nozzles. LANDERS, FRARY & CLERK. Aug. 11, 1952, No. 20184/52. Class 8 (1). A vacuum cleaner nozzle 10, Fig. 3, comprises an elongated slot 14 having opposite horizontal surfaces 26 on each of which is disposed a row of stubby combing teeth 30 each formed with a vertical convex inner end 32, Fig. 4, spaced from the slot 14 and a bottom surface 34 inclined upwardly and outwardly and merging into the surface 26 on which it is set. The inner longitudinal edges 28 of the surfaces 26 are rounded, and the surfaces themselves are formed on a nozzle plate 22.
