Abstract
699,831. Bearings. MSO MASCHINENUND SCHLEIFMITTELWERKE AKT.-GES. March 12, 1951 [March 16, 1950], No. 5902/51. Class 12 (i). A bearing-bush is divided into three sections 1 ... 3 by two radial slits 4, 5 so that the middle section 2 can be pivoted about a deformable cross-piece 6, whereby the axis of the middle section 2 is displaced laterally to the axes of the sections 1, 3. The external diameter of the middle section 2 is made less than that of the end sections. A radial shoulder 7 on the section 2 provides an abutment for an adjusting screw 8 in the bearing housing 11. The end sections 1, 3 are prevented from rotating in the housing 11 by keys 9, 10.
