699,548. Eye protectors. PARKER, R. M. Sept. 12, 1952 [Sept. 24, 1951], No. 22316/51. Class 97 (i). [Also in Group VI] A device for protecting the eyes from light consists of an opaque shade of a size to cover both eyes and attached along one of its longer edges to part of a hair net. As shown the shade 1 of black textile fabric is attached along its upper edge to a hair net 2 having an elastic peripheral cord and has attached thereto at the ends 4 of its lower edge an elastic cord or cords 3 joining the said peripheral cord at a point 5 behind the ear. The shade may also be used to hold medicinal or cosmetic pads in position.
