Class 20 (ii) [Also in Group XXV] A clamp more particularly for scaffolding comprises two members having cooperating jaws 6, 7 which embrace a horizontal tube 8 and rest on the top of a vertical tube 5, and having legs 10, 11 crossing one another inside the tube 5 and a screw 16 which draws the jaws 6, 7 together against the tube 8 and forces the legs 10, 11 outwards against the inside of the tube 5. One leg 11 may be forked.
