Abstract

692,707. Fuse - boards ; cable - couplings. POWER CENTRE CO., Ltd. April 4, 1951 [April 4, 1950], No. 8389/50. Class 38 (i). Means for taking tappings from cables located in trunking 13 comprises an insulating block 11 situated in the trunking and having a plurality of open-sided U-shaped channels 16 for the cables, one or more of said channels containing a metal block 22 which has a U-shaped channel 33 for .receiving a bared part of a cable gripped therein by a screw 38. Block 22 also has an opening 36 in which a tapping conductor 27 is received and gripped. Channels 16 are closed by a cover 17 and the conductors 27 pass out through the trunking to, for example, a fusebox 44 secured to one outer face thereof.
