Abstract

691,019. V-pulleys. FLENDER & CO., A. F. Jan. 30, 1951 [July 28, 1950], No. 2318/51. Class 80 (i). A multiple V-groove pulley is built-up of discs 1 having recesses 6 adapted to accommodate spacing rings 2 between each pair of discs 1 to adjust.the, V-grooves to the width of the belts to be used, the assembly being held together by bolts 5. The outer discs are directly supported on the shaft 4 and the inner discs are keyed thereto by a key 3. Alternatively the outer discs may be keyed to the shaft and the inner discs may be of ring form to clear the shaft.
