Abstract

690,384. Lined metal drums. SCHORI METALLISING PROCESS, Ltd., RIVETT. F. A., READS, Ltd., and GREGGATNS, P. K. W. Dec. 18, 1950 [Dec. 23, 1949], No. 33008/49. Class 66 A metal drum is coated internally polythene as by blowing powdered polythene into the pre-heated drum under air pressure of 6 to 8 1bs. per sq. in. whilst it is moving through an oven. The drum is cooled and a polythene spout may be fitted. A second polythene coating may be likewise applied. The oven may be of the two-zone, two-way type. For a full-aperture drum, no spout is required, and the lid is coated with polythene and may have a gasket. Specifications 643,539, [Group III], 688,531, 688,534, 688,544 and 688,545 are referred to.
