Abstract

Class 59 A delivery - clearing or comminuting device for a roller mill comprises means such as a rail 3, bar or the like which is mounted in the bight of the rollers 1 and 2, in contact with both of them along the whole of their length, and is given a continuous or intermittent movement parallel to the axes of the rollers. The device may be a bevelled or toothed rail 3 mounted on leaf or coil springs 4 on a beam 5 and reciprocated by agitating means 10, the beam being yieldably mounted on adjustable springs 7, or it may be moved past the rollers in the manner of an endless conveyer band.
