The invention of the parent Specification is modified in that the thixotropic coating composition has a solids content of 50 to 62 per cent. and an enzyme-modified starch content of 60 to 300 parts based on 970 of mineral pigment. It may be applied at a web speed of 800 to 1,000 ft. per min.
