Abstract

218,083. Armstrong, J. J. V., (Shurick, E. P., and Belsinger, S. P.). June 5, 1923. Letter - sheets. - A letter-sheet or lettercard is formed from a blank 1 having integral extensions 5, 9 along two edges, of less length than the edges, and folding inwards along the edges so that the extension 9 lies under the extension 5, covering a portion 4 of the blank tinted or otherwise made distinctive, or isolated by rules lines or spaces from the main portion, and bearing advertising or like matter. The extension 9 provides a reply postcard. Additional leaves 6 may be attached to the extension 5 to form a booklet. The extensions 5, 9 and the leaves 6 may be shaped in the outline of the article advertised. The portion 4 may be divided from the main portion of the blank by perforations, so that it can be detached.
