685,618. Partitions; studs; securing panels. MARTIN-PARRY CORPORATION. May 20, 1949 [Nov. 29, 1948], No. 13491/49. Classes 20(ii) and 20(iv) A stud to which panels of a partition &c. may be secured comprises a pair of similar sections 10, 11, each comprising a web 14, a half flange 13 and a full flange 12, the two sections being secured together, as by welding 20, 21, to complete an I- section. Each full flange 12 has a pair of parallel ribs 17, 18 provided at intervals with indentations to form local protuberances 19 over which sheet metal edges 24, Fig. 5, of panels 22 may be snapped to secure the panels in position, adjacent panels thus concealing the stud.
