Abstract
555,760. Compound sheet materials. TOWNSEND, H. T. Feb. 3, 1942, No. 1419. [Class 140] [Also in Group X] Panels forming the walls, floor and ceiling of a steel or concrete framed building consist of corrugated metal sheets a with flat crests to which boards a' are secured on one or both sides by means of lugs or tongues a<SP>2</SP> which are pressed out of the metal sheets and which pass through or partly into the boards. The edges of the panels have projections which are secured to the frame. Suitably shaped .trimming members a<SP>7</SP>, Fig. 3, at the edges of the panels carry the window or door frames. The floor panels support a concrete covering a<SP>4</SP>, Fig. 2. The joints between the panels are covered by T-shaped strips with hollow shanks which engage projecting edges of the corrugated sheets.
