Abstract

683,720. Ladder attachments for supporting articles. EVANS, W. J., and BROOKHOUSE, A. July 16, 1951 [June 27, 1950], No. 15966/50. Class 20(ii) An attachment for a ladder having tubular rungs for supporting articles such as paint pots comprises a metal rod member 1, Fig. 2, or tubular member 15, Fig. 4, slightly bowed to provide a spring fit in a tubular rung 2 and having an extension 9 adapted to project from the end of the rung to support the article. The extension 9 is provided with a hand grip 7 and a wire hook 12. As shown in Fig. 4, the tubular member 15 is provided in addition with a telescopic extension rod 16 adapted to project from the other end of a tubular rung and to which a hook may be secured.
