683,340. Cutting-tools and tool-holders. GUGLIELMETTI, P. Oct. 18, 1950 [Feb. 15, 1950], No. 25383/50. Class 83 (iii). A cutting-tool for machinetools comprises a cylindrical stem 3 and two symmetrically-disposed cutting wings 2, each wing having a single flat upper surface directed downwardly towards the centre of the tool. The tool is positioned in a holder 4 by a ball-catch 5 and is clamped by a rod 8 and a screw 9.
