Abstract

<PICT:0676595/III/1> <PICT:0676595/III/2> A roller appliance for surface decoration comprises a container fitted internally with downward guides, a conveyer device removably inserted on these guides, the conveyer device comprising rollers carrying an endless conveyer belt and a tensioning device, a swingable mounting on the container for a pattern roller which can be applied to the surface whilst making driving contact with the conveyer belt and means mounted on the container for removing excess decorative medium from the conveyer belt. Referring to Fig. 1 the pattern roller 10 is rolled over the surface to be decorated so setting endless band 7 in motion and causing entraining strips 8, Fig. 3, to convey the coating material to the roller after excess has been removed by stripping rule 16 and regulating roller 12.
