671,487. Lampholders. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Oct. 21, 1949 [Oct. 22, 1948], No. 27120/49. Class 38 (i). [Also in Group XI] A lamp socket comprises a tubular casing 20. provided with bayonet slots and with electric contacts 21, 22 and at its lamp-insertion end it is provided with spaced spring fingers 18 which engage in an aperture in a lens unit to secure the 'lamp and socket thereto. The lingers are formed on a ring member 25 clamped on the socket by turning over the rim of a flange 24.
