Abstract

670,164. Instruments for deaf persons. FORTIPHONE, Ltd. Jan. 30, 1950, No. 2414/50. Class 40 (iv). A miniature telephone receiver, e.g. a deafaid, consists of the receiver proper, Fig. 1, having terminals M3 with enlarged heads M4, and a casing unit, Figs. 4, 5, in which is fixed a plate C4 having arcuate key-hole slots C5 and contact plates C2 to which the cord leads are attached, the casing unit being secured to the receiver proper by engagement of the terminals in the slots, the terminals then being in contact with the contact plates C2. Holes C7 in the plates C2 serve as detents for the terminal heads M4.
