Abstract
669,604. Plate &c, racks. PAROMET PRODUCTS, Ltd. Nov. 1, 1950 [Nov. 16, 1949], No. 29285/49. Class 28 (ii). A plate &c. comprises resilient spaced sides 31 having deep open ended slots 5 for the plates which deform the intervening tongues to hold the plates with a non- shaking grip. The rubber side pieces 3 are screwed to the flanges 2 of a metal back plate 1. The side pieces 3 may be mutually divergent with parallel slots, or parallel with converging slots. The side pieces 3 may be spaced on the frame of tie rods, Fig. 5 (not, shown). The back may have a forward sloping incline at its base to deflect the drips. Such racks may be mounted on a wall or may have a flat base to stand e.g., on a draining board. They may be fitted inside cabinets.
