Abstract

663,204. Suction cleaners. DEHN, S. G. (Breuer Electric Mfg., Co.). Dec. 30, 1948, No. 33523/48. Class 8 (i). [Also in Group XI] A suction cleaning device comprises an axial air inlet 21 and a tangential air outlet 22 to which is detachably secured a dirt receptacle 51 in place of an electric heating nozzle 41. An electric motor 6 drives a fan 23 in a casing 18 having the inlet 21 and outlet 22. The dirt receptacle 51 is attached by clamps 54 to an adaptor 53, lugs 55 on which engage with lugs 55a on the outlet 22. A hose is similarly detachably secured to the inlet 21. A switch 28 on a handle 26 operates the motor 6.
