Abstract

663,162. Brakes. PARBERY & BUXTON, Ltd. Jan. 15, 1949 [Nov. 20. 1947], No. 30813/47. Class 103 (i). A perambulator having a suspension is provided with brakes operated from a handle 16 by flexible cables 9 passing through the wheel hubs 4 and stub axles 5. The brake may be a transverse pin 11 engaging recesses 13 on the wheel hub 4 or the pin 11 may draw a disc 22 into frictional engagement with an enlarged portion 23 of wheel hub.
