658,158. Hinges. ATKINSON & KIRBY, Ltd., and SINGLETON, G. R. June 23,1949, No. 16654. [Class 65(ii)] In a hinge assembly for a lavatory seat comprising a pair of end members which carry a transverse bar, each end member is a block having in its lower face 13 an undercut groove 12 which is open at one end only to permit a bolt head to be admitted therein and withdrawn therefrom, and having in a side face 17 a recess 16 to receive an end of the transverse bar, which may be screwed therein. Specifications 447,101 and 448,166 are referred to.
