[Class 108(iii)] [Also in Group X] A slidingsash window is balanced by one or more tension springs which are so selected that the ratio between the increase in the force of the springor springs when stretched from the least-loaded conditionto the maximum-loadedcondition, andthe average force of the srping orsprings over this range is less than 65:100, the stretching range being equal or substantially equal to the length of the spring or springs when in the unloaded condition. The window may bebalaneed by two springs of unequal strength; the turning movement of the window in its own plane may be compensated for by friction members
