653,136. Collapsable containers. HOSKING, H. G. W. Aug. 25, 1948, No. 22413. [Class 66] A collapsable container for tooth paste, or cosmetics &c. comprises a rigid dome or shell portion 1 of metal, or synthetic resin or other plastic, with an integral nozzle 2 cast or moulded therewith, and shaped to allow containers to be nested together. when empty, and secured thereto is a flexible diaphragm 6 of aluminium, lead, tin foil, plastic, leather, or paper &c. which may be reinforced at 13. The diaphragm is secured as by rolling its periphery into grooves 8, by adhesive, or by a flanged retaining ring, and a circlip may be fitted. Grooves 8 may be spiral and a groove 9 circular.
