651,480. Parchmentized fabrics. GINZEL, H. Dec. 31, 1947, No. 35338. Convention date, Nov. 19, 1942. [Class 142(iv)] Non-curling fine fabrics are produced by parchmentizing cellulose-containing fabrics of which the warp and weft are thinner than 60 count, are all twisted in the same direction, and are of equal weight (within 10 per cent) in a given area (the threads per inch being correlated with the thickness). The yarns may have crepe twist, and yarns of animal, glass, metallic, cuprammonium or viscose rayon, or synthetic material may also be included. The parchmentizing may form a pattern.
